-My recruitment meeting of my 2025 Japan trip was a disappointment as no new travelers (or even possible new travelers) showed up.
-I was finally allowed to announce that my daughter and family are planning on moving up here this August. When I say "planning," I mean that airfare for her, Janelle, and the grandchildren have already been purchased.
-I finally finished Abercrombie's Age of Madness trilogy.
-Friends and family posted their experiences regarding the recent solar eclipse.
-I was elected as a local representative to my union's executive board. The job does not officially start until July 7th.
-SoHi held another successful prom--this time based on an old-time movie theme.
-Donald Trump became the first person who served as President to be a defendant in a criminal trial (He already got to be the first one to be a defendant--and to be found guilty--in a civil trial).
-Janelle and I have been attending Connor's track events, sometimes together, sometimes individually.
-Connor and several other's (including a young man whom I sponsored) were Confirmed into the Catholic Church.
-I received some sort of bug bite that inflamed my left pinkie finger for a couple of days.
-My DDF team (well, several parents and myself) sold concessions at SoHi's spring play, Clue, over the course of three days.
-My friend and former colleague James Harris had his interview for the Skyview Assistant Principal position--and was recently hired for that job.
-I started wearing shorts on my down time.
-The boys and I managed to finish cleaning up the dog yard.
With the end of this month, the school year is rapidly coming to an end. Because of this, May is always rather busy. I hope that it is entirely a good kind of busy.
