I find myself both invigorated and overwhelmed. I am concerned about the time and added effort that applying these systems will involve, but I think the benefits outweigh the cost.
This isn't my first foray into blended-learning. I taught hybrid classes at Baker College for a couple of semesters, and I made an attempt to "flip" my instruction for half a year's high school world history class (before our administration and our tech plan switched). Both experiences required a lot of energy and prep time and I felt that both were fairly successful (even if that last hybrid Baker class ended up being my last class taught at Baker).
It would be nice to build something that lasts a bit longer this time.
