Considering the challenges that I have faced in teaching at a new school and planning for four courses, I was fortunate that this latest class was a bit more laid-back than most of my other ones. I still feel that I learned a great deal from this class, especially along the ideas of using a targeted plan to identify issues and then select the appropriate approaches to deal with them. I feel more confident in my ability to work as a leader and an agent of change.
Still, this brings me closer to working on my dissertation. As I have learned more about it, I have become a bit more unsure about what I am going to do for it. I began my degree with certain ideas in mind, but I am finding that those ideas need a great deal more refinement before I can use them for a dissertation.
For now, I want to enjoy my two weeks.
