Dark Side Station

I found this story idea when looking through some of my past blogs.  For reasons I do not fully understand, the idea struck a chord in me.  I do not know if this will end up being a novel, a short story, or something different altogether.  I am making it a "living" document with the hope that doing so will help spur me into completing it, as well as to gauge people's interest.  The link can be found here.  The title is also a link.

Our first contact with aliens from other worlds won't be through spaceship crashes or abductions, but instead when we receive and decode their radio broadcasts into space.  Our busy atmosphere, filled with our numerous radio signals, is too congested for our world to pick up the signals sent from other civilizations.  However, the mass of the moon can effectively block that boisterous noise from Earth and hopefully pick up those transmissions from other worlds.  This is a story about exactly that happening.
