I was deeply moved by the number of people, many of them choir or former choir members, who came up to me after church and mentioned how much they missed me.
We packed up the majority of our remaining boxes and furniture and it seems that we will still have room to spare in the truck (which is not terribly surprising as they upgraded us to the larger, and newer, truck at no additional charge).
I also had the opportunity to hang out with friends and even learn a new game. While we made plans to set up some electronic means to get together in the future, it's just not the same as getting to be with people face-to-face.
I'm glad that tomorrow will not require much in the way of packing (let alone frantic packing), as I want to be able to spend some more time with my family here.
