For those of you just tuning in, I happen to be one of those few people (it seems) who loves snow. Thus far, this winter has been a severe disappointment in that area. We had a nice taste in November, but have since seen very little of that glorious white powder. In fact, after this past Thursday's disappointment, I had given up on the idea of seeing any medium levels, let alone large levels, of accumulations until at least next winter.
Enter Linus, who is ironically supposed to blanket us with snow. When I looked at my weather apps on Friday night, the small percentage of snowfall had fallen to a 0% chance for precipitation. It wasn't until walking around Jackson Crossing with my father Saturday morning that we started to hear about the upcoming storm. As the day has gone on, expected snowfall totals have only ratcheted upwards.
With a minimum of 8 inches of snow expected through the night, day, and night, I can't help but feel that giddy excitement of my youth. Snow is coming! Wooo-hooo!
