The only word that we've had from LG was notification that they were sending us a check for $250 for the inconvenience of waiting. They also asked if we could keep our food cold for the time being. There was an option for applying for more money, but we do have the means to cool our food even if it is rather inconvenient.
Ironically, our old refrigerator--the one that was replaced by the LG refrigerator--is still working. However, it is in our garage, and our garage is separate from our house. Getting food from there requires a short (and sometimes wet) trip outside and back ... and again to put back anything that needs to stay refrigerated. It's an annoyance that will certainly make me better appreciate having a working refrigerator in the house.
Hopefully, I can start appreciating that soon.
