I recently watched First Blood (the original Rambo movie) for the first time, and one stunt stood out to me. In it, Rambo pulls a biker off his motorcycle, runs to the motorcycle, hops on, and takes off [the stunt starts at the 2:05 mark of Rambo escapes jail and steals the bike].
Suddenly, a list of comparisons between Bucky and Rambo (from the first movie) are clear. Both are referred to as super soldiers (Connor pointed this out to me), trained to be the most deadly weapons alive. Both are on the run from authorities seeking to unjustly punish them. Both have an action sequence fighting off police officers just before their motorcycle chases. Both are from an older conflict and are largely forgotten except by one man who believes in their capabilities, their integrity, and their innocence. Both are styling shoulder length hair.
I don't know if this connection was intended by the Russo brothers when they made Civil War, but there are too many similarities to be a coincidence.
