Our errands had a wide range of tasks and successes. We made good progress in getting the materials needed to make curtains for the living room and master bedroom. We were not successful in our trip to the Apple store to deal with my relatively new, yet inoperable, iPad. We found a few weights that I can use for my home workouts (but no kettle bells). And we really stocked up at Costco as we do not know when we might next be up in Anchorage.
We also went to Charlie's Bakery for a wonderful Chinese lunch and the Olive Garden for dinner. As we still had a lot of time before the flight, we decided to see a movie (making certain that it would end with more than enough time to get her to the plane this time). As Janelle had not seen the new Spider-Man movie, we chose to see it. Although we were too close to the screen and the 3D had some odd effects when viewed from the side, everyone enjoyed the film.
The evening was capped by a visit with friends at Baskin Robbins. Janelle and I did not get back home until after 1 AM, and it took us over half an hour to unload the car. I felt accomplished, and emotionally and physically drained by the time I went to sleep.
