Still, the upcoming weekend poses a dilemma: Do I use the extra hour for sleep, for more time to do wakeful activities, or split the difference? Generally, I need the sleep, but however good my intentions, I often simply lose the hour while playing video games, watching a movie, or hanging out with friends (mostly video games). My goal is to shoot for the extra sleep, but I have a feeling that I will see the clock hit midnight before I actually go to bed (as has so often happened in the past).
I am at least glad that I'm not working a job that requires me to be on duty for the extra hour. I remember working the graveyard shift and dreading the repeat of 1 am to 2 am. It certainly made my security shift logs a bit stranger.
