Due to the way our heating system is configured, if our bedroom thermostat is too high, the main room's heating zone does not turn on (it's thermostat is directly above a heater that is controlled from our bedroom's thermostat). Thus, most of our house was colder than normal. However, that had no impact on my time at school.
Thus, I decided to not wear a Hawaiian shirt today (they probably need some rest anyway) and put on one of my flannel shirts. I was still a bit cold in my classroom--I think the temperature system is set with the idea that it would be filled with students. Still, I was much more comfortable ... temperature wise--flannel is much more restrictive than my Hawaiian shirts.
This used to be my normal progression, but the last few years have been overly warm in the building, so shorter sleeves have been the rule. I don't mind wearing the long-sleeved shirts, but I've liked the excuse to wear my tropical apparel. In the end, I think changing things up might be a good way to keep life fresh.
