I also want to take a moment to recognize the recently departed Lance Reddick (who died just days before the film premiered). He was fantastic in his role of Charon, the concierge at The Continental; although, I know him best as the duplicitous Sylens in the Horizon game series. Seeing Charon's death in this film struck harder considering Reddick's own death.
Speaking of deaths, I'm not sure where they are planning to take the movie series from this point. Sure, John Wick has been in seemingly worse situations at the ends at least two of the other movies and still come back, but I wonder if they intentionally left this movie end the way it did to give it more closure than the previous two installments (with the exception of the cliffhanger end credit scene). I'm of two minds on the issue as I am fine with ending a series on a high note without throwing in a less perfectly made movie (I'm looking at you, Indiana Jones).
In short, if you've liked the other movies in the John Wick series, you're going to love this one.
