1. How can God both have given us free choice and yet wiped out the population of the planet in Noah's flood because they had chosen evil? I struggle often with the Noah's story, but I was asked this question recently and I've been working on my answer. It's not ready yet.
2. In a similar vein, how can God be good if he sent two she-bears to maul 42 children because they were calling a man bald? Also recently asked of me, but I have a better answer to this one. Unfortunately, the answer requires going further into the original story than I want to spend time on right now.
3. I definitely side on the carnivore side of my omnivore nature. It makes Fridays in Lent difficult. This is especially true when someone decides to cook bacon in the school.
4. I have my entire family home for this short weekend. These moments are becoming shorter. I need to take better care to appreciate these moments. While I am saddened in knowing that my children (not to mention Janelle and I) are getting older, I am also proud of the people that they are becoming.
Like I said, too many topics, not enough focus.
