Although I already miss having the lights up--like the lights that I can normally see by just looking up or to the right while I'm typing, it's nice that actual daylight is making its way into the world. Even though the temperatures are hovering around zero degrees Fahrenheit (much like the recent cold snap that hit Michigan), the light is a promise of the coming spring and summer. In the end, the artificial lights are nice, but they can't hold a candle to the natural light that our sun provides.
