I enjoyed this movie and would like to see it again. Out of the recent MCU movies, I think that I would place it above Multiverse of Madness as a standalone movie and below it as part of Phase 4 of the MCU. Basically, that puts it pretty much dead even with Shang-Chi which, like this movie, was a fantastically fun ride but didn't feel like it had any real weight to it. I suppose that one of my main criticisms is that it was a bit too "fun," especially in the light of the tragedies that occur.
My other complaint is that too much was shoehorned in to this short (under two-hour) movie. Thor's recovery from his "fat bod" in Endgame and his stint with the Guardians of the Galaxy is barely worth mentioning (and almost completely shown in the trailers). Instead of allowing Jane Foster's role as Mighty Thor to play out through Phase 4, they decided to run the entire comic story-line in just the one movie while combining it with the plot of the Gorr the God-Slayer (who really doesn't slay enough gods to really earn the title AND who's quest makes a great deal of sense after seeing what terrible "people" these gods are). Basically, I would have liked to see more of both of these plots rather than sprint through them while heading from one joke to another.
However, the movie is quite rewatchable. I just have to be willing to not overthink it and enjoy the ride.
