Certainly, I would very much like to get a plow or even a snowblower to help with the kinds of snowfalls that we've had this winter. However, that is not a complaint about the snow. Rather, it is a concern about my back and shoulder which have both been causing me more problems as I have gotten older. If I didn't have the fear of sharp pains and immobility shadowing me when I shovel, I would not be as persistent in my desire for some mechanical help.
I would also like to take better advantage of the snow when it is here. At some point (when time and money allow), I would like to take up cross-country skiing. It's an activity that I enjoyed in my youth and that I think would provide some great exercise and outdoor opportunities. I've been told that the trails here are amazing, and I would like to try them myself at some point.
For that matter, I need to get out and sled some more while I still have children young enough to enjoy it. I've only gone out a couple of times this year. I need to get a few more sessions in before the snow goes away.
I know that most people think that I'm insane because of my love of snow and cold weather. I'm fine with that.
