The sun showed itself for a pleasant amount of time today, allowing us to get some yard work done. I have the bug bites to prove it. Also, I'm certainly not in the best of shape as I a mass of soreness at the moment, moving stiffly around the house. Still, it was nice to have that feeling of accomplishment.
Speaking of, I also finished up my long-delayed surveys for the AP Reading I attended as well as completed the travel reimbursement form (which was thankfully completely online this year). I still have an upcoming AP Summer Institute at the end of July and beginning of August to attend--effectively bookending my summer with AP professional development. I have some work to do to get my classes reading before the upcoming school year, but I'm excited about the prospect--even if it will be a little weird to have one of my own sons in class with me.
I hope we have a more nice days between now and then.
