In March, Janelle is going on a trip with my parents to New Zealand, Tazmania, and Australia. I am intensely envious, but I hope that they all have an amazing time.
To help out during that time--especially in getting the little boys to school, Katrina is flying up here a little before Janelle's trip starts and will stay until a little after Janelle returns. As this will include our spring break which also corresponds with a get-to-know campus event at UAF, I plan on taking her and the boys up to Fairbanks for a couple of days.
In May, Janelle and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
Trevor also graduates from high school. My parents have talked about coming up for the occasion.
In June, I plan on attending the next AP World History reading in Kansas City, Missouri, and later flying to Juneau with Connor for his first Boy Scout summer camp.
In July, I plan on taking Rowen up to Mirror Lake for his first Cub Scout summer camp.
At some point in the summer, I would like to take a rafting trip from Cooper Landing.
In August, Janelle is planning to take Trevor and his stuff up to UAF for his freshman year (which will likely be during my first week back to school). There has been discussion about some of her friends meeting her up there and all of them taking a road trip back down.
I hope start the actual research for my dissertation during the next school year, but I still have a ways to go in the approval process before that can happen.
It seems like my schedule is already starting to fill up.
