It's not a big place, but cleaning everything and changing the bedding takes two of us a bit over an hour. Meanwhile, washing the bedding and towels is usually a five hour or more process. For this reason, we keep two sets of everything (and a backup). This way we can have everything ready while still washing the other set.
That said, I really don't like the quick changeovers. Since we rent out at a night by night basis, we often have one guest one night and another the next. This means that we sometimes have a window of only a couple of hours before one guest leaves and another arrives (if one is leaving late and the other is arriving early). At the same time, I need to keep a timer going to know when to change the laundry. We can't have the laundry running when guests are in the cabin due to a loud pump in the cabin that comes on when we wash the laundry.
Sure, I like the income from having the cabin rented out, but the quick changeovers certainly add to my blood pressure. That said, every day this week is a quick changeover. The light at the end of the tunnel is that the last changeover ends with guests that have booked for a week.
It will feel like a vacation.
