I'm still doing pretty well with the essay reading. While I'm a little stiff from the long day of sitting (which I plan on relieving with another trip to the pool), and my head was feeling a little fuzzy this morning, I'm overall feeling good. There is the bit of concern that there are another four days ahead for me very similar to the past couple of days, and a number of people warn about burn-out, but most of my fears about this experience have proven unwarranted.
Today's evening was an open evening, but I kind of screwed up making any kind of plans for it. One of my friends is off to see a Bee's (minor league) game. Some others are taking a tour of the capital. But in both cases, I waited too long to do either. I did figure out what I'm doing for mass this week. Originally, I thought I would go tonight, but the only 6 pm masses (the soonest that I could go to) that were nearby were Spanish masses. Instead, there is a 6 pm mass tomorrow at the Cathedral (which I hear is gorgeous). It means that I will miss a bit (maybe a lot) of Dr. Bain's presentation tomorrow, but I think it will still work.
Perhaps not doing anything tonight was a good idea. I'm really worn out. A nice soak in the pool sounds like just the thing.
