The bottom ice has certainly caused me problems otherwise. Just after shoveling the deck on the cabin, I slipped on the ice as I stepped down and landed awkwardly. There was not an immediate pain, but my back, shoulders, and hip have been growing their complaints throughout the day today, starting at about four this morning. I think that I might need to wear cleats while I shovel this winter.
Thankfully, the future forecasts keep us away from rainy temperatures, with suggestions that we will make more gains on the snow totals these next couple of weeks as we head towards Christmas.
I am dreaming of a white Christmas after all.
