However, I was still ecstatic to receive an email yesterday from Starlink that said my system was ready and that I had seven days to confirm my order. I confirmed it within the hour and purchased two additional items from the shop: a mount to place the dish on the gable of my roof and an ethernet adapter so that we can connect the system to our current WiFi network. Even though I was then informed (by two sources) that some people in our local area have been having problems connecting to the satellites, I remain optimistic.
I am not the only one at my house who is ready for faster Internet. Today, our system struggled to pull up a single episode of Andor. Earlier, Trevor was yelling at Connor for hogging the bandwidth only to discover that Connor was napping at the time with all of his systems off.
This had better work.
