As an example of how much the system has improved, I was able to hold my marathon for The Book of Boba Fett with only three instances of slowdown that lasted only a couple of seconds each time. This was while using Disney Plus--which has been the most finnicky of our streaming services since we started using Starlink. I'm hoping that the quality only continues to improve.
I'm still not certain about its use for video calls. Some days its seems to work fine when Janelle is talking to Katrina, but it also can freeze up unexpectedly--even when it's not registering any loss of connection--making her switch back to cellular data. However, it has been working exceedingly well with my blog posting as Weebly has been able to open quickly (which it has otherwise always struggled with) and can post multiple pictures in a short period of time.
Considering that we're paying $90 a month (after the initial $500 investment for equipment--it's more now) when we were paying over $140 a month before, I'm pretty happy with the service.
