I also find it interesting that they were sent out in pairs, as a support for one another. I imagine that this experience created quite a bond between the various disciples (which was likely part of Jesus' plan). It does make me wonder about who was paired with whom. Were the brothers (Peter and Andrew, James and John) paired together or intentionally placed with different disciples? Who was Judas Iscariot's companion?
Do we think about how we prepare for our own spiritual journeys? Do we consider who our companion(s) are?
