Meanwhile, we have the bunkbed for the cabin arriving tomorrow (we decided to go with a bunk bed rather than a wall-bed for a number of reasons, but cost was certainly one of them). This puts us close to having the cabin ready for day or week renting, yet another new experience for us. I certainly hope that it goes well.
I also have hardly touched the two online classes that I had originally planned to finish over spring break. I've read (and actually enjoyed) the books that came with them; I just need to spend some time with the main course materials. This lack of discipline on my part doesn't bode well for my plans to start an online degree this summer. At least the degree program has regular deadlines; these classes just say they need to be finished in a year (although I need to get them done sooner for my teaching certification).
And track season is already half over. I have to say that I really have been enjoying the experience. It's certainly taking more time than I expected (including planning time that I never even considered that I would need), but it's been worthwhile. The students seem to be enjoying it too which I think is most important.
Considering the breakneck speeds that time is running, I really need to slow things down a bit and enjoy the moments that slip away all too easily otherwise.
