I volunteered to help with the coat check and spent almost the entire dance there. Being there allowed me to greet and say goodbye to most of my students. It was particularly nice to get to spend time with my friends and colleagues, even if talking was a little difficult while my fillings were rattling from the music volume.
My ears still feel a little muffled. As I wasn't patrolling the dance floor, I didn't use the ear plugs I brought with me.
... I'm getting old, complaining about the music nowadays and how loud the kids play it.
