I got most of the largest trees down and mostly trimmed, but I found myself rather exhausted quicker than Janelle wanted (... nope ... no other connections there ...). At that point Janelle decided to take matters into her own hands (... again ... nothing worth connecting ...) and used the chainsaw for the first time. She had trimmed off a number of branches before turning around to say, "You know; I kind of like this" (Yep; time to move along. Nothing to see here.).
On a completely different note, this week's episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds went live today--five days early--because they wanted to debut this special crossover episode at the San Diego Comic Con today. It brought in characters from the animated comedy series Star Trek: Lower Decks in a way that had all of us laughing out loud almost from start to finish. It was an amazing episode that I watched again with Trevor as soon as he got home, and I already cannot wait to see it still again. Both of these shows are done with such care and love for the lore of Star Trek, yet they manage to make something so uniquely wonderful. This is Star Trek at its best.
