The boys and I went to the Christmas Vigil mass where I led the children's choir. Trevor stayed with Rowen in a nearby pew while Connor sang his heart out (he apparently follows his father's view of song dynamics). The children were amazingly well behaved, if a little hard to hear (except for Connor). It was a fun, if a bit draining, experience.
The boys then stayed home while Janelle and I went to the "midnight" mass at 9pm. Although I very much missed getting to be at St. Mary's (especially in its Christmas regalia), both masses were nice with plenty of parishioners making certain that we felt welcomed and appreciated.
It's time to set up the presents and get a little bit of sleep before the boys wake us up ridiculously early in the morning.
