The characters of Daredevil and Kingpin shine with amazing intensity, but there was not a weak link in any of the characters in this season. I particularly felt that Foggy blossomed in this season, and Sister Maggie stole the show in every scene. Each character seemed to fill a necessary role that fit together in the glorious puzzle of a plot.
Only one episode of the thirteen felt like filler, but even that helped to round out one of the main characters in ways that explained issues going back to the first season. Otherwise, each of the episodes fit together gorgeously, like the cogs in an intricate clock. I always wanted to watch another, although we wisely spaced them out.
With Iron Fist and Luke Cage suddenly cancelled (with massive cliffhangers, no less), I do wonder about the future of Netflix's Marvel shows. I know The Punisher season 2 and Jessica Jones season 3 are already filming, but nothing else is known. I hope we see some more crossovers, but I will be happy if they just keep Daredevil at this level of quality.
