Unlike Janelle, I don't have trouble falling to sleep when it's light (although direct sunlight is an issue). We still need to get blackout curtains for our bedroom considering her issue sleeping with light (including night lights, which has led to many a stubbed toe on my part). Oddly, I tend to sleep comfortably if there is some amount of light in the room. Our compromise is that I get to have a fan running in the room (as I need airflow and the white noise a fan provides, while Janelle hates air movement) and we keep the room as dark as we can get it.
All things considered, I should probably go to bed now.
