When I look at the news about the the current heat dome over the Pacific Northwest, I can't help but feel a growing concern about our upcoming trip to Michigan during the hottest time of year. I plan on spending one day at Cedar Point, and I'm now hoping that I will be physically up to it temperature-wise. As I think about it, a day or two at Lake Michigan might be a good idea.
For now, I'm enjoying Alaska's cooler-than-normal summer, even if it's leaving businesses with an excess of unsold fans.
