With that in mind, I made an effort to do something else as well. They were minor accomplishments, but I still feel better for them. I cleaned up the games and controllers that have been sitting in a tangled mess in our computer room. I also did a little bit of grocery shopping (including standing around for fifteen minutes trying to rectify a four dollar mistake on their beef pricing). But, my "biggest" little accomplishment was cleaning off my dresser. There were papers and other items that have been sitting on that dresser for over five years (since it was last moved) and some of those were even on it before then (since the purchase of our house). There wasn't a lot of stuff on it, but enough that cleaning it makes that side of the room look larger now.
Sometimes, it's the little things that give me that feeling that a day has not been an entire waste.
