First, the boys and I put out the outdoor furniture. The table and chairs are arranged on both our house's and our cabin's decks. We also carried the wooden bench swing and its end tables over to their places by the fire pit. Connor asked if we could start a fire today, but I didn't think it was a good idea considering the current fire danger.
I also got online to check on a few things. One was my spring break trip to Rome and Athens. Our open enrollment period closes today, and we filled in the 36 slots that we advertised, which will make 42 of us going on the trip when my chaperones and I are included. I still plan on holding another recruitment meeting at the beginning of the school year for those students who needed more time to decide or who missed out on the initial opportunity. However, if we get many more, we may need to make some organizational changes (such as having a second "bus captain").
I also completed a couple of online requests for the upcoming AP Reading. This year, I agreed to take part in a discussion about additional practice opportunities that the AP College Board could offer to students to help them prepare. While I didn't do more than glance at it today, I did verify that I had received the "homework" which I need to complete before the discussion. I also checked my flight and accommodation arrangements yet again. It still don't understand why ETS (the testing company) doesn't pay more to those who do the Reading online at home considering the amount that just my hotel (not to mention flights and meals) is costing them.
I also introduced the boys to the Daredevil TV series today. They immediately wanted to watch the second episode after seeing the first one. I was in complete agreement. This show is absolutely amazing!
I will get into a more active routine later.
