It was with a very sad face that Connor told me that he realized Thanksgivings were now all Oasis days (days where we can only play electronics if we are doing so with other people in the house). That said, I think that everyone had a good time anyway. With such wonderful leftovers from our early Wednesday Thanksgiving dinner, every meal was amazing.
Meanwhile, after a nice exercise session to start the day, the boys played well together throughout the day. When Janelle got home from work, we Facetimed both sets of grandparents, played a couple rounds of Mario Kart, and had Rowen come out on top in a game of Ticket to Ride. The day has been pleasant and relaxing.
I'm posting quite a bit earlier than normal because I am just about to head off to bed. Janelle has to be to work at 4:30 in the morning, which means that she will be getting up around 2 am. I am dropping her off at work and taking Connor with me as I do my Black Friday shopping at Freddy's and Walmart. Hopefully, tomorrow will go at least as smoothly as today.
