I need to be up in six and a half hours for my drive up to Oakland University for the training aspect of this trip. I had something that I was going to say about today’s readings, but it’s not coming to mind at the moment. Instead, I will say that it was great to be back at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea for mass!
Equally great has been the time that I spent with my parents, Katrina’s family, and my sister-in-law’s family today. Unfortunately, I’ve been inconsistent in remembering to take pictures on this trip. I only took a few when we had lunch.
Tomorrow starts the real work. It must be on my mind as I had my first teaching nightmares of this summer. It’s about time for them to show up anyway.
I expect traffic tomorrow to be … interesting … but I wouldn’t mind being pleasantly surprised.
