So far, I've been generally happy with how this blog has gone. I have managed to (mostly) remember to write every day (or at least on the following day). Most of the writings have had a solid topic that, if not fully explored, have had at least one or two good thoughts behind it.
Because I started this blog as a Lenten promise, I decided to keep Sundays reserved for writing on religious topics. I then later decided to keep Saturdays reserved for writing about writing (either story ideas or small scenes and poems). There are three other main topics that I am considering dedicating a day for postings: dungeons and dragons (both playing and DMing), teaching, and parenting.
My dilemma? First, I'm not sure which day should be dedicated to which idea. Second, and perhaps this should be the first concern, I wonder if I should dedicate days at all. I already find myself postponing blog ideas that I get on Saturdays and Sundays because they don't fit with that current day's focus. Setting aside more days would only compound that issue. However, setting aside days would make it easier for people with specific interests to know which day to "tune in." Note my optimistic view of my blog's readership.
I'll figure this out (although your suggestions are welcome). One way or another, expect some future posts to have topic titles (like Saturday posts do) as I start to incorporate these other ideas.
