The main limiter is both my and my chainsaw's energy. The second battery that I ordered had to take the long way up and still hasn't arrived. Thus, I am limited to the battery that came with the saw, the older battery that came with my mower, and the smaller battery that is meant for smaller devices. So far, I can make good progress with those charges and tend only to run out at the point that I need to take a rest anyway.
The process is tiring and sweaty work. Each day, one of the boys comments either on my smell or how wet and grimy my shirt is. For these reasons, I've been cutting before I take a shower so that I'm not doubling up every day.
All in all, I'm improving in my technique and endurance. I also have a much better feel for how the chainsaw works and how to get the best and most efficient performance out of it. Sadly, I have many, many more trees to take care of. Those that are farther out will have to wait until next summer.
